NetFlix

We have all been there. The times we want to watch so many movies but due to budget constrains and lack of time, we are unable to and most of the time, we forget that we want to watch some movies till they are long over. As we get busier with our lives, movies start to play s smaller part and personally as a filmmaker, it is kind of sad. But thankfully, Netflix came around and I think it is the most brilliant idea ever.

There was the time when we all got pirated DVDs and VCDs from other countries and tried to pay as little as we can and forgo the quality of the movie to just get the story. Then there was downloading of anything and I was one of the last people on the planet to learn about it and of course, by the time I learnt about them, many of the good sites for downloading had already shut down. Streaming seems to be the way to go but as usual, the quality might not be as good and depending on your internet speed, it can be a pain in the lower region. Some sites also can be pretty difficult to navigate and a lot of movies are found on chinese sites and even though i am chinese, i cannot for the life of me read the titles or comprehend them. And of course, we will get the pop-ups which drive us crazy and the possible unknown viruses flying around waiting to attack your computer.

I decided to just spend a little money and sign up for netflix and I definitely do not regret it. The quality is pretty good and they have so many films that I have not watched and had wanted to watch a long time ago. As you watch the films you like, it brngs up more films that are similar to those you watched and the library expands. I have never watched so many films in such a short time. Love it.

And no I am not paid to promote this but it is awesome and I always believed in free entertainment…but cheap entertainment is good too!
